The Briton 5430 Bathroom lock is available in either a square or round forend. Available in a stainless steel forend finish with a silver case finish. The 10mm throw deadbolt is operated from inside by a single turn of a thumbturn. The latch is reversable for left and right handed doors -no need to dismantle the lockcase allowing quick and trouble free on-site handing. From both sides the lock can be operated by lever handle to withdraw the latchbolt. The outside of the door can be fitted with an indicator and emergency release and operates with the thumbturn via an 8mm spindle. Designed to accept bolt through fixing at 38 to 41mm centres at the follower and the indicator/emergency release follower position. Smooth action ball bearing follower for 8mm spindle provides smooth lever operation and reduces wear. Profiled latch and forend provides positive location and operation. 25º follower action for firm positive opening action and with follower springing suitable for heavy furniture. 5 Year warranty.
