This Briton 5440 Mortice Latch has a Quick reversible latch for left and right handed doors, . Profiled latch and forend provides positive location and operation. 25º follower action for firm positive opening action and with follower springing suitable for heavy furniture.no need to dismantle the lockcase allowing quick and trouble free on-site handing. It has a 5 year warranty. From both sides the lock can be operated by lever handle to withdraw the latchbolt at all times. Smooth action ball bearing follower for 8mm spindle provides smooth lever operation and reduces wear Designed to accept bolt through fixings at 38mm centres at the follower. The Briton 5440 Mortice Latch is available in a silver finish with a stainless steel forend finish.
