We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the bottom) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have the authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use this website.
Certain services provided by us will require registration and subsequent access to those services. This will be subject to an approved login name and password ("password details").Any information that you provide on this website must be accurate and complete. All password details are accepted and may be withdrawn at our sole discretion. They are exclusive to you and non-transferable and must be treated strictly confidential at all times. In the event that you have any concerns regarding your password details or become aware of any misuse then you must inform us immediately. Images displayed on our website may vary form the product ordered and are for illustration purposes only.
The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this we will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not a confirmation of order or acceptance from Intercitylocks Ltd.
Purchase
The payment methods that we accept are by Visa, Solo, MasterCard, Switch UK electron and Delta. We also accept Cheque payments. If this method is preferred then please note no goods will be dispatched to you until we have cleared sufficient funds into our bank account. Cheque should be made payable to Intercitylocks Ltd and sent to 339 Caledonian Road, London, N1 1DW. In all cases the only currency applicable is pound sterling. All prices are stated excluding VAT at the current rate of 15%. This rate may be subject to change from time to time depending on government policy. Credit card details will be handled severely to ensure confidentiality. SSL encryption is employed to ensure sensitive data is protected.
Our Asec products are a budget range, we reserve the right to substitute any goods ordered with an alternative budget brand of identical quality if Asec is not available.
Delivery
We do make every effort to keep our delivery costs and charges as low as possible. Our delivery costs depend on where the goods are delivered, whether you choose a standard delivery (Up to 3-5 working days) or our premium service.
Please see individual product information pages for details on delivery lead times on specific items.
Your order can be delivered to any address, your home, workplace or a neighbours house, whichever is most convenient for you. Please specify when ordering.
Please note that a signature is required at the time of delivery for all types of orders.
Please make sure that the address you give at the time of the order is the correct address for the recipient. Additional charges will be made for re-direction or re-delivery due to postcode error.
Where the carrier is unable to find someone to accept delivery they will either deliver to a neighbour or leave a card at the address for the recipient to make contact.
If the recipient fails to make contact in good time the goods are returned to Intercitylocks Ltd and a charge will be made for re-delivery to that or an alternative address. Please note that Intercitylocks Ltd will not be liable for this cost unless this was due to an error on our part.
Cancellation
We operate a 'No Quibble' policy for cancellation to allow you a cooling off period after placing your order. You have the right to cancel your order for any reason prior to dispatch providing:-
You notify us of your cancellation in writing/e-mail within 24 hours of ordering.
After delivery - You must contact us prior to any return of goods. See returns section below.
The goods remain unused and component parts are unopened.
Please note that unless the goods are faulty you will be responsible for the initial delivery and collection costs.
In addition to manufacturers warranties we will offer a repair or replace, free of charge any item which through manufacturing defect, becomes unusable within 12 months of delivery.
Important: delivered for next working day must be placed before 2PM. If you place a next working day delivery order and it doesn’t arrive the next working day, providing it has not already been dispatched you will receive a full refund for the cost of next day delivery. In the instance it has been dispatched you will not receive a refund.
We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales; however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Intercitylocks Ltd shall be under no liability for any delivery or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales.
Please note no goods will be dispatched between December 22nd and January 1st inclusive.
All Keyed alike cylinders come with 2 keys in total unless otherwise stated.
Privacy Policy
Intercity Locks Ltd aims to provide excellent standards of customer service and in order to maintain these standards we need to collect certain information from you. In doing so, we are committed to protecting your privacy and adhering to the principles of The Data Protection Act 1998.
We DO NOT collect or store any credit/debit card details that you use when purchasing products over the phone or online. This is to protect your personal details and also for your security and peace of mind.
What information do we collect and use?
We sometimes use third-party advertising companies to serve our advertising on the Internet. These third-party advertising companies do employ cookie technology to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. To do so, these companies may use information about your visits to our website and other websites. Unless otherwise notified, these advertising companies do not use names, addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers, and do not link any online actions or cookies to an identifiable person.
When you place your order with us, we need to collect certain information to be able to process your order. What we need varies depending on what you have ordered, and the pages you are asked to complete will vary accordingly. The information is sent to us via an SSL encrypted server. This information will form part of a permanent record of your dealings with Intercitylocks Ltd.
When you e-mail us, we may ask for certain information from you in order to check this record and answer any questions or queries as quickly and efficiently as possible.
When you contact us in any way, we make a note of this communication if it is relevant to your permanent record. This allows us to provide excellent customer service and provide excellent ongoing customer care.
Our site uses cookie to enhance your online experience. No personally sensitive information is stored in these, and the site will function fully if you have set your browser and internet settings to refuse them.
We would like to be able to mail or e-mail you occasionally. This will allow us to keep you up to date with any future products or services we offer, this is an option the customer chooses when placing an order.
Returns Policy
Goods may be returned to us for a full refund excluding delivery costs. You must contact Intercitylocks Ltd prior to returning any item. You must return the goods within 28 days of the receipt of your product/s.
Intercitylocks Ltd will add a 20% re-stocking fee for goods returned deemed to be the customer’s error.
Goods must be returned to Intercitylocks Ltd. 339 Caledonian Road, London, N1 1DW only.
(You will be expected to pay for the postage and packaging costs in order to return any items to us, Intercitylocks Ltd will not refund the expense you incur or be liable for any products returned to us).
In order to receive a refund, your goods must be returned in as new condition as possible, in original packaging and complete with all manuals and accessories, including keys if any.
Please note that we will not refund any goods that have been keyed alike unless there was a mistake on our part, this is also the case for any extra keys that have been ordered. Please be aware that keyed alike products may take longer to arrive than the standard delivery time.
Please allow 14-21 days from date if return for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
Distance Selling Regulations.
If you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time within 7 working days of receipt of goods you ordered. In this case, you will receive a refund of the price paid for the goods, in accordance with our returns policy. In order to cancel your contract with us, you must inform us in writing and return the product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received it, and at your own cost and risk. The Regulations do not apply to special orders, such as keyed alike goods; master keyed systems and extra keys.

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within in this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
Liability and Indemnity
Nothing detailed in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Intercitylocks Ltd will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statuary or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy reliability of the website Intercitylocks Ltd will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material transmitted or uploaded through the website and Intercitylocks Ltd accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.
Subject to the above, other than as expressly provided in these terms and conditions with respect to specific products and except for the exclusive remedies set out in the section above, any indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are herby excluded to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
Intercitylocks Ltd will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent on negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any:
Economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
Loss of goodwill or reputation; or
Special or indirect losses
Suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, subject to section above Intercitylocks Ltd aggregate liability(whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable to you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or series of incidents attribute to the same clause.
This clause 7 does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.
We do take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to information provided by you.
